MOVIES IN THE PARK  with Movie Mike to be continued.........Summer 2010  :)

Just like the drive-in without the car! Imagine sitting out under the stars watching wholesome family movies together. And it's FREE.  In these hard economic times isn't it wonderful to be able to utilize our parks and programs.

Activities are scheduled before the movie so plan on coming early to have fun. Bring your chairs or blankets to sit on in front of the stage. (Bug spray might be advisable!)

Come early to play on the playground or have a family picnic and/or  be involved with the scheduled activities. Movies begin at dusk or after the early planned activity. Free popcorn and prizes!

MOVIES are over for this summer!   Thanks to our "Movie Mike" for bringing us classics like old Disney cartoons, Tom and Jerry,  circus and animal shorts, The Three Stooges, The Little Rascals, and others.   We ate so much popcorn!!!!! And the children loved winning his goodie bag prizes.

Some people came early to participate in the other free activities - Bingo, Christmas ornaments and a special presentation of The Magic Paintbrush, and Old McDonald Had A Band musical puppet show presented by Families Learning Together (a government subsidized program).  All the children also received a free book and goodie bag from them also.

AND LASTLY -   THANK YOU TO ALL WHO CAME AND PARTICIPATED.  WE HAD TWO FABULOUS TURNOUTS IN JULY AND AUGUST AND ARE ENCOURAGED TO CONTINUE THE PROGRAM NEXT YEAR WHERE WE HOPE TO SEE YOU ALL AGAIN.
