The highlight of our financial year as a non-profit is our yearly Fall Festival. The success of this year;s festival, which was held October 17h, was due to our many volunteers and sponsors. So many people and groups donate time, money and resources throughout the year and without them Kidsgrove would not remain the fun, safe place for our kids to play that it has always been. So we just wanted to say a big thank you to all of them from our board members and maintenance crew to our student volunteers from SU to the many church groups and businesses that support Kidsgrove throughout the year. The ongoing maintenance of Kidsgrove is something that requires a lot of time and effort from a lot of people. We are fortunate to have so many wonderful people volunteer here at Kidsgrove throughout the course of the year. Many are individuals and others are part of groups and every one of them is appreciated. Several Saturdays ago we welcomed the services of a great group of students from Susquehanna University who were part of the SU G.I.V.E. program. The program is for Freshman students and this year we had an especially fine group. Some of the projects they helped with were; scrubbing wood on the fence and various features in the little kids area in preparation for the application of sealant, weeding and distribution of mulch in the many…

Kidsgrove has been providing a fun and safe place to play in Selinsgrove for many, many children for over 17 years.  Through the supportive assistance of our community, and without funding from taxpayer monies, we work diligently to maintain and improve the park each year.  This year Kidsgrove’s restroom facilities are the focus of our efforts. Our restroom facilities serve the thousands of visitors to Kidsgrove, as well as to the adjacent parks and soccer fields.  This renovation is greatly needed in part because of the number of people who use the facilities and in part because of the age of the facilities.  In planning the restroom renovation, we had paid particular attention to increasing accessibility for persons with disabilities, and to decreasing any harmful effect on the environment.  Kidsgrove…

All of us on the Kidsgrove Board would like to say a huge Thank You! to everyone who volunteered their time at Kidsgrove this summer.  They pulled weeds, spread mulch, painted the stage and mini-town, built a stone patio area and spread wood chips throughout the playground.  Kidsgrove could not exist without you!

We are starting to get reservations for the pavilion already. If you know of a specific date you would like it, I would suggest you call early.  It fills up quickly!
